- Centurion (2010) — Yes, it's a 97-minute period chase scene. PICTS, you guys. PICTS. Also, Sassy Fassy.
- Burke and Hare — It's kind of a hit-or-miss thing. Some parts fell flat, at least for me, but I loved the look and the cast, and there was one scene with Tom Wilkinson that had me in hysterics.
- The Rite — Religio-existential horror, spooky diabolical shenans, AND Anthony Hopkins? Yes, plz.
- Season of the Witch — Mleh. Once again, shoddy script and cheesy CGI detract from a neat concept.
- Red Riding Hood — So bad. Why.
- Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day (1999) — So awful. Screamingly awful. Turned it off after ten or twenty minutes.
- The Call of Cthulhu (2005) — Slept on and off through it, because I was sleepy.
- Jane Eyre — Sassy Fassy.
- Sucker Punch — Someone had a drawerful of pretty ideas and wanted to share them all at once. (And they are pretty.)
- Insidious — Such a creepy trailer. Such a crappy film.
- A Clockwork Orange (1971) — Kindasorta. I fell asleep through the last half. :|
- Sunshine (2007) — Preeetty. Don't know enough about astrophysics to know how much of the science was right, and there are a couple fistshakey-at-the-screen moments, but it was a fun ride.
- The King's Speech — I will watch anything with Geoffrey Rush in it.
- Dorm (Dek Hor) (2006) — It was less FECKING HORRIFYING as the trailer made it look, and as much of a Delightful Coming of Age tale as it was a Spooky Ghost Story. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
- Thor — Fun film, though I had to forcibly shut off the part of my childhood that was raised with Norse myths and crying at what these people had done to them.
- Priest — Nooooooo whyyyyy there is only so much my childhood can taaake
- Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides — Pirates pirates pirates that is all I cared about pirates
- X-Men: First Class — A bit surface-y, but enjoyable. Sassy Fassy.
- Green Lantern — Fun!
- Burn After Reading (2008) — Meh.
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 — ;____; iluHP
- Die Hard (1988) — Again, kindasorta, at Clarion West. Mark & Nick caught me while I was staggering downstairs to submit the hard copies of that week's story at 2 or 3 in the morning and convinced me that watching a movie at that hour was a grand idea. But I wound up going to bed after about 2/3 of it.
- Captain America: The First Avenger — Funfunfun.
- Cowboys & Aliens — No.
- Don't Be Afraid of the Dark — Lots of excellent jump-scares, and quite spooky to watch in the dark, but ultimately predictable and somewhat disappointing.
- Conan the Barbarian — It looked so PRETTY and starred Khal DROGO and I've never been so BORED watching a movie. :|
- Fright Night — This is the kind of thing I grew up reading, so it was a weirdly but enjoyably nostalgic ride.
- The City of Lost Children (1995) — A weird and nightmarish ride.
- Brazil (1985) — What happened.
- The Departed (2006) — Meh.
- Persepolis (2007) — :<
- The Three Musketeers — Nice choreography, but the writing made me ANGRY.
- Primer (2004) — Wut.
- Becoming Jane (2007) — Got bored, turned it off after an hour.
- Hugo — Delightful.
- District B13 (2004) — It's an action flick, and a hugely entertaining one.
- Hogfather (2006) — Pratchett. v^___^v
- Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows — :D
- Hanna — Nngh, why.
TV-wise:
Joe and I also made it partway through the first seasons of Mad Men and Camelot before giving them up for dead.
